I would suggest you to go for managed dedicated server because you'll need extensive resource, high security and full power & control of your web server.

It is quite requirements are quite different in terms of hardware requirements. E.g for online music you will need a good streaming server. But for storage service, you will need a top notch SANS storage in place.

Either of which are not readily available, you will need to invest quite a lot of $$$.
